Award-winning Creative Collective Wander Joins Chelsea
- posted in: news
Creatively-driven bicoastal production and talent management company Chelsea Pictures has signed award-winning creative collective Wander for representation. Wander is a Los Angeles-based cause-marketing creative collective “helping the world’s do-gooders do good.” Wander is comprised of founder Aaron Weber, Eric Reinfeld, Cryssy Cheung and Phil Towle.
Wander’s “Follow the Frog” campaign for the Rainforest Alliance was awarded a Bronze Lion at Cannes in 2013, and they have created many other highly lauded cause-marketing content and campaigns, ranging from major clients such as LinkedIn and Apple to Oxfam and the Coexist Campaign.
“Allison and I have known Aaron for a long time, and have long admired he and his team’s passion for creating beautifully crafted and deeply moving cause-marketing,” said Chelsea partner Lisa Mehling. “We feel that the time is ripe to introduce Wander to a larger agency and client audience, and feel that their mission is very much in step with the socially conscious work Chelsea produces and believes in.” Wander’s Aaron Weber added, “The opportunity to collaborate with a team as incredible as Chelsea will allow our work to have a larger impact than ever before.”
This is Wander’s first partnership with a major commercial production house. Chelsea, a creatively-driven production and talent management company independently-owned and managed by partners Allison Amon and Lisa Mehling, will represent them for all branded content and commercial opportunities.

Our belief in cultivating and curating a roster of unique and diverse talent has led us to both critical and commercial successes, and have launched the U.S. commercial directing careers of David Gordon Green, Alex Gibney, Lauren Greenfield, Jack Cole, and Nadav Kander. We have garnered the industry’s top accolades from Lions to Pencils to Cubes, and the work of our directors has been showcased at Sundance, Venice, Cannes, Toronto and Berlin Film Festivals, among others.
Chelsea, founded in 1987, was acquired and relaunched by Allison Amon and Lisa Mehling in 2001 with a commitment to our directors and the highest standards of production and creativity.
Recent accolades of Chelsea and its directors include the uncanny #LikeAGirl for Always directed by Lauren Greenfield with Leo Burnett, which, along with its sequel, “Unstoppable” has amassed an astonishing 200+ million views worldwide and nearly 200 awards and an Emmy-nomination for Outstanding Commercial; and most importantly, has inspired immeasurable paradigm-shifting conversation. Additional recent work includes Nadav Kander’s chilling viral Super Bowl PSA “Listen” with Grey, which took home a Bronze Film Lion, notable work for Little Caesars with Barton F. Graf 9000, Dixie with Droga5 and Toyota with Saatchi & Saatchi.
We are honored to collaborate perennially with the industry’s best to produce work of the highest pedigree across broadcast, digital, film, TV, branded entertainment and print.
