The film was created with the festival circuit in mind, both nationally and abroad. “I wanted this film to cross borders, so it was very important that we have a universal theme and no dialogue”, explains Clark. The story which they envisioned as the “back-story” to the company’s logo, a wandering child.
Prolific film and television composer Bob Lord created a unique audio experience for the film. “As a composer, WANDER allowed me a unique opportunity to sculpt music and sound design in a highly complementary manner, and create a form of music/sound/picture dialogue that, in effect, replaces words. Working with so few limitations is a rarity in film scoring, and I enjoyed the process greatly,” said Lord.
Wander completed the editing of Wander in-house with the help of freelance editor Jeremy Cohen. To accomplish the large number of effects shots, nine additional artists were brought onboard. Wander is currently being submitted to a large number of film festivals throughout the world. The company will announce its first screening shortly.
